TAPS On Board
We understand that healing occurs in the presence of those who truly comprehend. During the cruise, TAPS will provide an array of programs and activities tailored to your relationships and experiences. Gather with us each evening for a heartwarming TAPS family dinner. Rest assured that our survivor sanctuary, affectionately referred to as “THE HELM,” will serve as a comforting haven where you can always find emotional support from our dedicated TAPS staff.
Upon reaching each captivating port, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the stunning islands. TAPS will also organize group shore excursions, which will be announced closer to the cruise.

Mark your calendars as this spectacular cruise spans from Sunday, January 7 to Sunday, January 14, 2024. Here’s a breakdown of the itinerary:
- Day 1: Port Canaveral – All aboard by 2:00 p.m. for a delightful TAPS ice cream social meet and greet.
- Day 2: Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas
- Day 3: Day at sea with TAPS workshop opportunities and exciting ship activities
- Day 4: Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas – Optional shore excursion available
- Day 5: Philipsburg, St. Maarten – Optional shore excursions available
- Days 6-7: Days at sea with TAPS workshop opportunities and thrilling ship activities
- Day 8: Return to Port Canaveral – Time to bid farewell and part ways
Trip Fees
Please note that self-funded trips are fully funded by the participants themselves and are not covered by TAPS. Here are the cruise pricing details per person, based on double occupancy and inclusive of all fees (taxes $141.77; gratuities $112.00; insurance $79.00-$119.00):
- Option 1 – $1,738.77 – Balcony Cabin
- Option 2 – $1,532.77 – Ocean View Cabin (window only)
- Option 3 – $1,227.77 – Inside Cabin

The provided prices do not include the following optional items:

A deposit of $250.00 per person is required, with a minimum of $500.00 per cabin. This deposit is fully refundable until the final payment is due on October 2, 2023.

Lodging and Transportation
Please make your own arrangements for transportation to and from Orlando, Florida. If you choose to fly in on the day of departure, we recommend arriving at the airport by 12 p.m. and scheduling your departure flight after 12 p.m. on the day the ship returns. We strongly encourage arriving the night before and offer a group rate for a hotel stay if you’d like to join TAPS staff. It’s crucial to plan accordingly to avoid any potential delays that may result in missing the ship.
All staterooms are equipped with two twin beds that can be converted into a queen bed, a private bathroom, phone, closed-circuit television, mini-bar, and hairdryers.
