Secured Title Loans, Secured Credit Lines, and Title Pawns
The maximum pawn amount in Mississippi is $2,500. In Tennessee, assuming the customer meets the requirements and accepts both the maximum pawn of $2,500 and the maximum secured credit line of $4,000, the maximum loan amount is $6,500. Refinancing is not available in Nevada, nor for pawn products in Mississippi or Tennessee. The minimum amount for title loans in South Carolina is $601.
You must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama) to apply. Account approval requires meeting all eligibility requirements, including a credit check, a vehicle assessment, and a title condition review. You need to present a valid government-issued ID. Other eligibility requirements, terms, and conditions apply. Loan/credit line/pawn amounts vary by state and product. Credit line customers are subject to periodic collateral reviews to maintain their credit limit. In Missouri, Nevada, certain Texas locations, and Utah, income documentation and a payment capacity analysis are required.
Unsecured Personal Loans/Credit Lines
Unsecured loan amounts and products are not available at all stores/states. The maximum amount for new personal loans varies by state; the first-time maximum is $600 in MS, $800 in SC, and $1,000 in other markets. Higher amounts may be available for returning borrowers.
In-Store: In-person applications are currently not available in Idaho. Account approval requires meeting all eligibility requirements, including a credit check. To apply, bring your active bank account information (dated within the last 60 days) and a valid government-issued ID. If your bank account statement does not show recurring deposits, you will also need to provide proof of income, such as a recent pay stub, from the last 60 days. In NV, proof of gross income is required, in addition to a bank statement. In AZ, a valid AZ vehicle registration in your name is also required. The minimum amount in SC is $601. For new customers of unsecured personal loans without an SSN or ITIN, the maximum loan amount in SC is $601, and in other states, it is $350.
Online: If you do not have an SSN or ITIN, please visit us in-store to apply. Additional eligibility requirements include a valid and active email address and phone number, as well as a valid SSN. You must also reside in a state where we do business (currently: AZ, DE, ID, KS, MO, MS, SC, TN, TX, UT, or WI). The minimum amount in SC is $610. Other terms and conditions may apply.
Residents of California, Illinois, and Virginia: TitleMax® no longer offers new loans in CA, IL, or VA but continues to service existing loans.
In Georgia, TitleMax offers title pawns.
In Idaho, TitleMax only offers an online personal credit line. Loans/in-person applications are currently not available.

In Nevada, title loans and high-interest loans should be used for short-term financial needs only and not as a long-term financial solution. Customers with credit difficulties should seek credit counseling before entering into any title loan or high-interest loan transaction. A payment capacity analysis with income documentation is required. A check of the Nevada state database is required as of February 2022 for a title loan or high-interest loan in Nevada. Only one loan (either title or personal) is permitted per customer, including other lenders.
In Tennessee, TitleMax offers title pawns and secured and unsecured credit lines (“Credit Line”). Only one Credit Line is allowed per customer, including other lenders. Credit Line customers are subject to periodic income (and collateral, if applicable) review/validation.
