3. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
This joint project hosts environmental programs for all ages, as well as themed events and activities centered around sea turtles: sea turtle summer camps, turtle walks, outdoor hatchling releases, and free marine feedings, to name a few. 7. FAU Stadium
Located on the Florida Atlantic University campus, FAU Stadium is an outdoor multi-purpose stadium consisting of 30,000 seats, 32 suites, and 24 luxury loge boxes. Home to the annual RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl, FAU Stadium has also hosted other major sporting events, including the NCAA Women’s College Cup Soccer Championship and a friendly match of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team. 9. Daggerwing Nature Center
The Daggerwing Nature Center is located within the beautiful confines of Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park. Features include a 3,000-square-foot exhibit hall with live animals and state-of-the-art interactive displays, classroom facilities, a laboratory, a lobby, a reading area, and an elevated boardwalk that takes you on a relaxing journey through a swamp. The boardwalk features two trails and bench-style seating, as well as an observation tower to view the abundant plant and animal life, including ospreys, woodpeckers, butterflies, endangered wood storks, alligators, and a wide variety of bromeliads.
