The National Embark on a New Tour in Support of Their Latest Album
The National is set to hit the road once again, embarking on an exciting tour across North America and Europe to promote their highly anticipated ninth studio album, “First Two Pages of Frankenstein”. This tour will feature a stellar lineup of bands, including a special one-night-only appearance by the legendary Patti Smith at Madison Square Garden.

The National will be gracing major music festivals and venues throughout the United States when their tour kicks off in May. From the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to the Bottlerock Festival in Napa Valley, as well as The Fillmore in Detroit and two opening nights at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, their presence will be felt across the country. “First Two Pages of Frankenstein” – An Album to Anticipate
The National’s upcoming album, “First Two Pages of Frankenstein”, is set to release on April 28. This highly anticipated 11-track collection features a range of collaborations, including appearances by fellow singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, indie-darling Sufjan Stevens, and the incomparable Taylor Swift. The lead single from the album, “Tropic Morning News”, is a powerful and melodic track that showcases the unique vocal talents of Matt Barringer. The artist presale for The National’s tour will begin on Wednesday, January 25 at 10 AM local time. Fans can gain access to this presale by signing up to join Cherry Tree, The National’s fan community, on the band’s website. There will also be a promoter presale starting on Thursday, January 26 at 10 AM local time. To gain access, select your preferred tour date and use the presale code “SOUND”. For the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the venue presale will also start on January 26 at 10 AM local time, with the presale code “GREEK2023”. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, January 27 at 10 AM local time.
